Legal Information

Here are the key elements of my standard consultancy agreement:

• The agreement is between MRJP CONSULTING LIMITED (the Consultant) and the Client.
• The Consultant will provide consulting services through the Individual, Matthew Peck. Services include advising on productivity, quality, software development etc.
• The Consultant will provide 10/16/32/64 hours per month of services starting from your subscription date.
• Services will be performed at the Consultant's address (remotely). Additional services may be agreed.
• The Consultant will use reasonable care and skill in providing services. Time is not of the essence.
• The Client will cooperate with the Consultant and pay fees on time.
• The Consultant may use a substitute in place of the Individual.
• Fees are £800/£1200/£2080/£3520 per month plus expenses. Additional services are £75/hour.
• Either party may terminate on 0 days' notice. Right to immediately terminate for breach or insolvency.
• The Consultant owns pre-existing IP. The Client owns Client IP. No infringement of third party IP.
• Liability is capped at fees paid, excluding death/injury. No liability for indirect/consequential losses.
• The parties owe confidentiality obligations.
• The Consultant remains independent. No employment relationship is created.
• Data protection obligations on both sides.
• English law governs, English courts have jurisdiction.
